Youth Coordination Centre International in collaboration with Asian Resource Foundation Nepal is calling for applications from young peace activists, community and development workers for its forth coming YCCI’s South Asian Regional Youth for Peace Training Workshop. This week long peace training will be held in Katmandu, Nepal from June 8th-14th, 2009. The applications close on April 30th, 2009.
Successful candidates will be offered a scholarship to cover food, accommodation and local transport during the period of the training. Travel costs from home country to Nepal are the responsibility of the participant or sponsoring agency. However, limited scholarships to partially subsidize airfare are available. Participants are encouraged to find sponsors in their own country or region. It is requested to all participants to contribute with a 10 USD registration fee.
